I loved Into the Wild and was happy to finally purchase the sequel. Very entertaining read. Something you can just sit back and fancy and I was quite satisfied with the end.
Into the Wild was such a great book that I wasn't sure a sequel would compare. Out of the Wild, however, is just as funny and well-told as the first book and a great read!
I GOT THIS FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER. SHE HAD READ THE PREQUEL"INTO THE WILD" (I THINK) AND BEGGED FOR THE NEXT BOOK. SHE JUST BEGAN 5TH GRADE SO IT IS A CHAPTER BOOK THAT IS JUST THE RIGHT LENGTH FOR HER. KEEPING HER READING IS A GOOD THING
For years, Sarah Durst was my favorite author. It started in fifth grade, when I read her book, "Ice". Then I looked up other books by her, and found "Into the Wild". When I finished that, I was excited to read more by her. When I learned that Sarah had written more about Julie in "Out of the Wild", I pounced on it right away. Julie is a funny narrator and reminds me of myself at times. She makes the Wild, usually a horrible thing, into a light, fun experience. This book is definitely worth every single of it's four stars.
I bought this as a gift and it was well received. I received it very quickly and the price was very good.
This was a gift for my Granddaughter. She is very happy with the book. She reads everything by Sarah Beth Durst and we had not been able to get a hard copy of this book until now.
