I enjoyed reading Baby V because I can relate to Baby V. being the youngest of a family. My family isn't well to do but all 4 of my sisters and I went to a private all girls schools with uniforms but we lived at home. I dislike being called the baby but it's something you never outgrow and doesn't stop once you're an adult, being the youngest.

Living a sheltered life is also something I can relate to and not being considered in discussions that can effect one's future.

Upon graduating from college, the family has planned for Vincenza to become part of the family's company which she is already a Board Member. But V. wants to embark on a different path that doesn't include the business. Her brother John continually tries to persuade V to take a position in the company but decides to use a different approach. He has Dom, the C.E.O of the family business, work on a different strategy to gain her acceptance of a position.

What will happen when secrets from the past are revealed? Will it bring the two families whose patriarchs' started the business together with hard work and determination together or does it break families apart? What will happen with the dynamics of Dom and Vincenza? You must read to find out.

I recommend that you read this book because it is a great read. I cannot wait for Book 2!

Love the story
Mia just graduated college and the family wants her to work at the families company. The company is owned by 2 families. Their kids Mia is the baby and Dom is the oldest / CEO in his family . Dom is older brother like/ but he is not the older brother or not related to the family. Dom starts to take his claim on Mia believing that she always belonged to him. She just did not know it. Love the forplay and alpha hotness of Dom. There is family company drama but other than that it was fast read and great book! Can't wait for part 2. There is no cliffhanger but continuation of the family drama in book2. Love it!

As always Tara has created a dominant, Alpha Male, but she has also created a female character who isn't afraid to stand her ground. I loved V's voice. It was unique, strong and just really amusing.

Baby V brought to mind feelings I've felt before and probably will feel again, and honestly it made me feel all nostalgic. And maybe that's really not something that people enjoy, but I really did.

It was also interesting to only have V's perspective really. You had to learn about characters through a biased view and it definitely gives some interesting descriptions.

Overall, the plot, characters and the realistic ups and downs made for a marvelous reading experience. Tara Oakes has really done it yet again.

I have been a fan of Tara Oakes since I read the Kingsmen series! I find her writing style to be very smooth, entertaining, and she can weave a GREAT story. Baby V is no exception.

Vincenza, Baby V as her family calls her, is a young woman coming into her own. The story opens on her college graduation day from St. Barts, an exclusive all women's college. Being a bit naive, and leading a sheltered life, V is ready to strike out on her own and spread her wings. But, as always, life has a way of wreaking havoc on the best laid plans. Preparing to come home for the summer before striking out on her own, V experiences a summer like no other.

Dom, a family friend, and one V affectionately counts as "The Brothers" is about to shake up V's life. He is definitely suave, charismatic, and one to swoon over! As the shift begins and Dom and V begin their journey into something a bit different, it is very sweet and romantic. There is an air of mystery as to why Dom has never made a play for V's affection before or vice versa, as well as a veil of mystery regarding the family business. But it all feels very natural and authentic as the progression takes place and their relationship blossoms. This is a couple that is absolutely made for each other.

Throughout the story, I kept waiting for the twist, the turn, the other shoe so to speak. But it really never came. This is a series where the story is definitely going to continue and build throughout. You will not want to miss a single moment of it. There is a bit of an angsty twist near the end and the epilogue had me dying. I am anxiously awaiting book 2 so I can meet up with Dom and V again!

I recommend this to all romance readers! The relationship that blooms between Dom and V is amazing, and watching V come into her own is inspiring! A little something for everyone!
