When Lucky leaves the wrong guy hanging after a bar hookup, a skinhead faction is out to take revenge on her and she needs protection.

(slight spoiler) At first I thought the premise of such serious "revenge" tactics were a bit over the top since she just snuck out the window after all. Lucky and the Henchmen member never even hooked up, but who is to say what a crackhead racist would do over paying for a motel room when the woman then wised up and slipped out the back. Ruby Dixon is skilled at developing well rounded characters in the novella length book. The story pulls you in with an interesting plot. There's a healthy dose of detailed sex scenes without sacrificing the story line. The character of Kitty was the only irritant, I could do without her trashy flair for the dramatic and will skip the book that tells her own story with Dom and Gemini. I'll be saving Off Limits however in one of my kindle permanent collections to read again at a later date, the chemistry between the main characters is that good.

This was just to short and I really need more now. I really loved this book and I am downloading the next book in the series
I have to say I am really enjoying these short books about this motorcycle club. The men are fierce and the women are faithful. I love me some awesome motorcycle dudes!
Great MC read. Lucky got her nickname because she has no luck whatsoever. She doesn't believe any guy will ever want her bedside of her bad.luck. thank goodness there is Solo. Now all he has to do is convince her.
I loved it, a great quick read. I would expect nothing less from Ruby Dixon. There are some unanswered questions ie who is the snitch? Guess I'll have to read "Packing Double" to get the answers
Short and sexy but OMG loved it! Well written and entertaining. By chance, Solo ends up protecting Lucky from an enemy MC club and takes her home with him. Lucky is quick to blame herself for everything that goes wrong and for once wishes something would turn out right. Lucky and Solo have instant attraction, passionate chemistry and a deeper understanding of who each one really is. Loved their interaction. Would recommend. Can't wait for more.
First story I've read by Ruby Dixon and it was a pleasant surprise. Not as raw and violent as most MC books but the plot was good and there was enough action, and steamy sex to keep me reading from the beginning to the end. It would have been nice to get Solo's POV but the story sucks you in from the very beginning and after a while you don't even care that you're only getting Lucky's POV. Read it!
Lucky and Solo heat up this book. Lucky is the sister of the prez of the Bedlam Butchers, and Solo came back damaged from war. One night, Solo comes to her rescue, and then there's another type of coming. ;)

The MC is kind of interesting in that the members do everything in pairs - their jobs in the MC (there's two presidents, and so on), their MC rides, and their sex/love life. HOWEVER, both Lucky and Solo are damaged in different ways, and this first book in the series has a lot of hot sex but is a bit mild on the "partner" aspect, which comes up heatedly in the next book.

I liked Lucky a lot - she was smart and had a smart mouth. Her internal dialogs were sometimes funny and often poignant (especially in the beginning of the book).

A quick .99 MC read, meant for a night when you have a few hours and want to visit a MC for a while. AND the books in this series are so well edited - what a wonderful surprise for a .99 book!!

Now I'm wondering who these authors really are. They obviously have lots of intense writing experience since the stories are well plotted, the writing is good, and the editing is meticulously done.
