I was hooked into this book just reading the little blurb that described the book before I bought it. I have read all 4 books and they need to be read in order, you won't be disappointed. The characters have grown to become what life wanted for their lives. As a parent myself, I would be proud of the woman Feadra has become. They developed and made mistakes like all of us, had doubts, but had the strength to face their futures as best they can. This is a series that has run me the gamut of all my emotions, enjoy!

I was downloading free books a couple years ago when I first purchased my e-reader. I fell in love with this series and being a mother of two girls was happy that my kids were also able to enjoy this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series and if this is the last one then I am not disappointed with the ending. Though I can see that more adventures could be following. Congratulations Alison Pensy for creating a wonderful fantasy world. I hope you continue to write as you have a gift.
I loved the 4th book! There is a twist I didn't see coming until it was revealed and I love that about books. I don't like knowing something the character doesn't know and I am left waiting for the character to find out. With this book I found out about the twist just as the main character did which really made me connect more with the main character than I already do. I cannot wait for a 5th book if there is one.
READ ! you will not be disappointed. Worth your time and the low cost for a Great story. I bought this series and enjoyed every chapter and books. This author is fantastic in writing. Adventures, romance, humor, action, magic and supence. I REALLY WANT TO TELL YOU THAT YOU MUST READ, FOR SURE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Eagerly awaitied this book and am so glad it came out! I loved it, the series was light and refreshing to read and I as an adult loved this sweet YA book.. we see Faedra come into her own and her family struggles that she learns to overcome... along with more bad guys and a fairy world battling them.

All in all, I loved the book and was sad to see it end, as it ends the series too
This book was fairly well written, arriving at what could be an end-point in this series. Definitely a young adult feel to this series, with the primary character often acting out-of-character for someone her age -- as seen through my much older eyes though those much younger might see things much differently. I rated this as "okay", as it was a fairly easy read, but didn't lead me to look forward to any future books, nor do I have any inclination to re-read this book...
I have really enjoyed this series, so much so I have read it a couple times. They are fast reads with interesting characters and a more unique idea than all these vampire books out there. I am not sure if this will be the last book in the series but if it is it is a content ending that wraps most things up in a nice way. I find the Etyran character really interesting and if the author wanted to do a spin off he would be a good way to go. I found myself really wanting to know more of his history. What happened to his kind. But I recommend this series to teens and adults alike
